The G-class still stands as Mercedes' longest serving model of vehicle produced- introduced in 1979 and with no definitive end to production as of yet. AMG started work on the G-class in 1999, and soon the G63 was born.
The G63 has become somewhat of an iconic car, particularly in the cities whereby the typical demographic market for AMG's most boldly stated vehicles lie. With such demand, AMG have worked relentlessly to produce this modern take on the G63, without losing its historic character and charm, whilst providing enough modern technology to suit the needs of the modern environment in which it places itself within.
This example we have will certainly catch the attention of many. Being a 1 of 5 colour edition G63 painted in AMG's limited 'Alien' green, with 20" AMG titanium grey wheels and tinted windows, the car certainly lives up to its reputable bold statement.
The Bi-turbo, 4 litre V8 producing 544bhp creates the recognisable sounds of which AMG are able to produce. The AMG twin spoke design wheels and electronic stability programme enable the driver to use this power when necessary, yet the car can be driven smoothly and relatively quietly when gently cruising.
The interior is set off with the 'Designo' black leather, with the comfort seat package, AMG carbon fibre accents, AMG performance steering wheel and 7G tronic paddle- shift, sunroof, Harmon Kardon system, parking package and leather covered dashboard.
This fully loaded G63, with its unique and limited colour is certainly sought after, being able to gracefully conquer any environment it should find itself within.
